He has 40 years of experience in research and teaching. He has also been to Uppsala University, Uppsala, Sweden a world class university for post doctoral studies.

He has thus far successfully guided 10 research students, six students are registered for Ph. D.  and has published 100 research papers in International journals (47), and National journals (33) and conferences in the country (20), respectively

Due to his constant drive for understanding emerging technologies and passion for acquiring latest knowledge and its dissemination described lovingly by few colleagues as ‘learning machine’ and by few ‘human dynamo’, he could author ten text books for students of Computer, Electronics, Communication and Information Technology, which includes books on Embedded Systems, Computer Architecture (a Schaum Series adaptation) and Internet and Web technologies published from McGraw-Hill India, McGraw-Hill China, McGraw-Hill South Korea, McGraw-Hill Singapore, McGraw-Hill U.S.A. He is immensely popular among the students of the emerging fields in IT area.

He has unique distinction of serving a Professor and researcher in four disciplines: Computer Science and Electronics, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Physics. 

He is Senior Professor in School of Computer Sciences and Electronics and Information Technology, Faculty of Engineering Sciences, Devi Ahilya Viswavidyalaya, Indore since 1989. He has served with Punjabi University, Patiala, Punjab, (17 years). Kalasalingam University, Srivilliputtur, Tamilnadu (Electronics and Communication Engineering, 2 years) and Guru Nanak Engineering college, Hyderabad Andhra Pradesh (Computer Engineering 1 Year)
